And
Springtime in England.
May
in England has colour splashing out from everywhere.
It's common to see the forest flora of bluebells wrapping
themselves around trees.
The tulips are at their peak and in ditches daffodils grow wild. Old
vines of purple wisteria spread and grow around timbered frame houses.
I love that time of the year in England. Spring is about the beginning of
life again and colour is nature rejoicing.
"Springtime
in England" comes as a set of four prints that depict scenes of various
places in England.
The first image, Red Tulips, is from Hidcote Manor
Gardens, in the Cotswolds.
Number 2 of the series, Stratford Wisteria comes from
Shakespeare's birth town, Stratford-upon-Avon, England. The third in the series,
Arlington Row, is a detail from one of the quaint cottages at the village
of Arlington Row.
The final image, The Blooming Forest, is typical of the Cotswold forests
in Spring.
