Beyond the thin blue line where sea and sky meet there is a place of no return, a place where stories, song and dance are passed down from generation to generation.

My very, very, very first!

So far, this is a painless way to communicate where I’ve been...  and where I’m going.  Start somewhere and work my way up, out, and beyond.  It doesn’t matter how the marble ends up in the hole; just throw the damn thing and where it goes, it goes.   So here it is folks: my very, very, very first newsletter!

Please email any comments and feedback.

Visions, Dreams and Moving Forward

Here’s a taste of where I am , projects I’m working on, and  collaborations that have started taking shape:

Wings to Fly

“Wings to Fly” is a two-year collaboration with poet and good friend Jeanne Ripley.    Information regarding the dates of when the manuscript will be published will be announced sometime in 2005.   To receive a free bookmark containing positive quotes from the manuscript please email Joanne or Jeanne at jeanneripley@ns.sympatico.ca or Joanne@mindfulcreations.com.

The Art of Letting Go Again and Again.

Reflecting first on a “word” these drawings were made using water as the medium and photographed before it disappeared.  Within seconds after the brush hits the surface the drawings mysteriously vanish  into thin air, leaving behind a blank space only to begin again.  It is called the art of letting go or maybe the art of not letting go.    Exhibition dates and time to be announced later.

Azalia Liu

Behind the scenes backstage, life of a Beijing Opera Singer. With extreme focus Azalia Liu skillfully applies her makeup over a four hour period before entertaining.  Exhibit dates to be announced.

What is the Color of Sound?

Recently, I had the opportunity to see David Hickey and his singing crystal bowls when he was performing here in Halifax.   I could feel the warmth and love that radiated from these bowls.  Truly an amazing experience.    For more information regarding his next show dates and location please email David at:  david_hickey@canada.com or hover over the image to go directly to his website.
